I am working on the project "Soil biological mechanisms underpinning the effects of biological amendments on soil health, productivity, and resilience” as a part of the Soil Science challenge. I will be mainly exploring facets of plant responses and plant-microbe interactions in response to organic soil amendments. My role involves performing experiment, handling omics and statistical data. Apart from research my role involves mentoring masters and PhD students.

Worked in a DBT West Bengal sponsored project entitled "Genome Wide transcriptome analysis to identify MYMIV (Mungbean Yellow Mosaic India Virus)- stress related genomic resources of blackgram". My main responsibilities involved transcriptome profiling of differentially expressed genes of different lines under different condition of MYMIV infection and identification of SSR based markers linked to MYMIV resistance.
